The 5th Annual Créole Culture Day is on. The boucherie stays at John Bobb Jr. Park at dawn. Everything else moves inside on Church Street in Grand Coteau, two buildings and the lot between them, all in one place.

The boucherie starts at 6 AM, right where it always has. By 10 AM the cooking moves over to Church Street.

Doors open at 10 AM. The DJ, the live music, and the Creole Marketplace with our sweets and crafts vendors.

Heritage · Creole French

Thensted Center

The Ruth Anita Foote Heritage Hub, the genealogy panel, Creole French Bingo, and Who Yo People in its own room.

Food

The Lot Between

Between 252 and 268 Church St

Cooking vendors and the food truck, plus the boucherie black pots. Cracklin is in the pot by 10 AM.

Pull out those rain boots. The culture does not cancel.
